Ova Magica is an adorable design that represents a life-simulation RPG combined with farming taming of creatures and quests in a fairy-tale world. As the protagonist of the story, the players get the character of a young farmer who wakes up one day and finds strange blobby creatures known as Blobs, each of them having a set of skills and traits. Cooking and Stamina combos are highly recommended and adds spice to farming crafting and fighting.
Farmers can tend their farm, plant crops, and then take the crops to feed and even make their Blobs grow in order to win battles. The Blobs are also useful when it comes to navigating the dungeons, solving puzzles or facing adversaries in a funny turn based combat system. Thus, besides these kinds of the activities, players can talk with the townsfolk and, vice versa, build personal relationships with them, and attend the community events.
