OVERVIEW OF Dark Magic
Dark Magic is rather an adult game, meaning that it contains elements of both fantasy, magic & romance. The plot of Dark Magic is based upon a young hero who one day lives in a sinister & unexplained way with a race of magical sorceresses. Being the only man in the community of women, he learns that his role is linked with some prophecies, and he is sure that the magical world cannot exist without his talents.
They also include decision making element which enables the player to decide on various aspects on the interactively story told. Characters share many similarities to NPC’s because players engage characters whose personalities and back-stories must be revealed as players progress through the games story line to establish relationships with them and get them to share secrets with the player character. Dark Magic also also features some elements of a puzzle solving game exploration and what I would call close moments meaning that you actual engage in a very close way with your partner at times. Dark Magic is full of very bright illustrations and has a great plot and a highly developed setting with a large number of magical places and mysterious places. The plot lost trust in authority, control over the usage of immense magical power, and circumstances of using it. Dark Magic also successfully combines good storytelling with adult content which will appeal to people who like their games to have a compelling narrative but also want them to be mature.
Of course, as with many games, there is a strong concentration on the anti-hero’s personal development and the interpersonal relationships surrounding the character in Dark Magic, but it also deals with darker elements of magic itself and concepts of good/evil and pragmatism from aspects of using these powers. Both, the elements of fantasy and the mature story make Dark Magic a very appealing the game for fans of the genre.
