Overview of Strigoi
The horrors of Strigoi is an horrifying game based on the vampire like creature from Romania called Strigoi. It takes you to a shabby and rather spooky village in the middle of nowhere – you know the kind of village, where people start to die and be killed in the most mysterious of ways. Depending on whether you are an investigator or one of the villagers struggling to survive, you have to describe the supernatural phenomena that are happening while simultaneously avoiding the danger of coming face to face with the Strigoi.
The mechanics entail movement, hiding, & problem solving. Characters move around in the forest, during the night, in old ruins and at the night time Popsand Village looking for clues about the Strigoi’s background. tuning to the game is scary and exciting as Strigoi is an AI-controlled antagonist that changes its moves depending on the players’ decisions.
